Acceptable Use Policy

The golden rule

Only message people who opted in — by messaging you first, commenting your keyword, or otherwise asking to hear from you. SetterStack is for continuing conversations people started, not for cold outreach to strangers.

You must not use SetterStack to

• Spam — send unsolicited or bulk messages to people who didn't opt in.
• Break platform rules — violate Instagram/Facebook (Meta) Platform Terms, Community Standards, or messaging-window limits, or attempt to evade them.
• Deceive or harm — send fraudulent, misleading, harassing, hateful, threatening, or defamatory content, or run scams.
• Break the law — violate anti-spam (e.g. CAN-SPAM/TCPA-style), consumer-protection, privacy, or advertising laws in the recipient's jurisdiction.
• Send prohibited content — anything promoting illegal goods/services, sexual content involving minors, or content that infringes someone's intellectual property.
• Impersonate — misrepresent who you are or your affiliation, or use an account you don't have the right to operate.
• Scrape or mass-DM strangers, harvest contacts, or feed data into a competing product.
• Abuse the platform — probe, overload, or attempt to breach its security; circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or access controls; share credentials to evade limits.
• Misuse the AI — configure it to make false claims, give regulated advice (legal/medical/financial) as fact, or deceive people in ways that break the law.

You are responsible for your content

Everything sent from your connected accounts — including AI-generated messages built from the offer, claims, and instructions you configure — is your responsibility. Keep it accurate, honest, and compliant.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that break this policy, create legal or security risk, or threaten the stability of the service — with or without notice depending on severity. Serious or illegal activity may be reported to the relevant platform or authorities.
