Affiliate Program Terms

Joining

• The program is open to SetterStack customers, who can register from inside the app; we also invite selected partners individually. Participation is at our discretion, and we can decline or remove anyone without giving a reason.
• You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract.
• You are an independent contractor. Nothing here creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship, and you may not act or speak on SetterStack's behalf.

Commission

Commission is a share of the subscription revenue we actually collect from a customer you referred:

• 20% recurring, for 6 months per referred customer, on every referral — there are no volume tiers.

If we change the rate, the new rate applies going forward only; it does not re-rate customers you have already referred.

Every plan earns commission, including Flex. Whichever plan a referred customer chooses, commission is due on it. Free trials that never convert to a paid plan earn nothing.

Commission is calculated on the amount we collect, net of discounts, refunds, taxes, and payment-processing fees. It is not paid on any amount we never receive.

Attribution

• We attribute a signup to the first affiliate link or code a visitor arrives with, for 90 days from that click.
• If a customer arrives through more than one affiliate, the first one is credited.
• Attribution depends on cookies and on the customer completing checkout in the same browser. We don't guarantee tracking in every circumstance, and we can't credit a referral we have no record of.

Payouts

• Paid monthly, on the 15th, for the previous month's earned commission.
• $50 minimum. Balances below it roll over until they clear it.
• You must submit a valid W-9 (US) or W-8BEN / W-8BEN-E (non-US) before your first payout. No form, no payment.
• You are responsible for your own taxes. We do not withhold on your behalf unless required by law.
• Clawback: if a referred customer refunds or charges back within 60 days of their first payment, the related commission is reversed and deducted from your balance.
• Unclaimed balances on an account inactive for 12 months may be forfeited where the law allows.

How you may promote us

These rules exist because, under the FTC's endorsement guidelines, what you say about SetterStack can create legal liability for both of us. They are not stylistic preferences.

• No income or earnings claims.Never state or imply a specific or typical financial result — no "I made $10k with this", no revenue screenshots, no guaranteed number of booked calls, no "replace your setter and save $X". Describe what the product does, not what someone will earn.
• Disclose the connection, clearly.Every post, video, email, or page promoting us must say plainly that you earn a commission — visible without clicking, tapping "more", or opening a link-in-bio.
• Be accurate. Don't describe features that don't exist, misstate pricing, or claim any partnership, endorsement, certification, or employment with SetterStack.
• Don't impersonate us. No lookalike domains, handles, support channels, or "official" positioning. No bidding on SetterStack brand terms or misspellings in paid search.
• No spam. No unsolicited email, no mass cold DMs, no purchased lists, no automated posting. Follow the rules of every platform you post on.
• No self-referral. You may not use your own link or code for your own account, or for one you control. Commission from self-referral is void.
• No coupon, cashback, or deal-site placement without our written approval, and no unauthorized discount codes of any kind.

Breaking these is grounds for immediate termination and forfeiture of any unpaid commission, including commission already earned on referrals obtained through the breach.

Our trademarks

While you're an affiliate in good standing you may use the SetterStack name and logo to link to us, as supplied and unmodified. You may not alter them, register them, or use them in a domain, app name, or handle. The licence ends when your participation ends.

Ending it

• Either of us can end your participation at any time, for any reason, with notice by email.
• On termination you must stop using our name, logos, and links. Commission earned and not forfeited under these terms is paid on the next normal payout run.
• We may close the whole program with 30 days' notice; existing earned commission is honoured.

Liability

The program is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost commission caused by tracking failures, browser settings, or a customer's own actions. Our total liability to you is capped at the commission paid to you in the 6 months before the claim.

You agree to cover us for claims arising from how you promoted SetterStack — including any claim you made about results, and any failure to disclose that you earn a commission.
