Recovering leads that slipped through the cracks

Not every good lead gets caught in the moment. Someone mentions their business, asks what you charge, or hints they're interested — but the thread never gets worked, the AI wasn't on, or it just got buried. Those people are still gold. Possible leads finds them.

01How it works

On the Leads page, click Possible leads → Scan for missed leads. SetterStack does an AI pass over your recent conversations that never became leads and flags the ones where the person showed real business or buying intent — the ones that should have been leads.

Each result shows:

  • Who it is and why it flagged (e.g. "runs a pilates studio, asked about pricing"),
  • a confidence (strong or maybe), and
  • whether they're still reachable — inside the 24-hour reply window or past it.

02What to do with them

  • Add as lead — drops them straight into your funnel and hands the conversation to your AI, which picks up and works them like any other lead.
  • Dismiss — not a real lead; clear it out.

03The 24-hour thing (important)

Instagram and Facebook only let you send a normal DM within 24 hours of the person's last message. So:

  • "Reachable now" leads are the ones to act on first — re-engage them while the window's open.
  • "Window closed" leads can't be freely messaged again, but adding them still puts them on your radar for manual follow-up or for when they message you next.

04When to run it

Right after a busy stretch of DMs or comments, or any time your inbox has been moving faster than you can work it. The scan looks at your recent conversations, so running it every day or two catches slips while they're still reachable. It's strict on purpose — it flags the genuine intent signals, not every "hey."
