Team members, roles, and access

01Inviting your team

Team page → create an invite link → send it to your setter/closer/VA. They sign up through the link and land directly in your workspace. Owners can remove members at any time.

02Roles

  • Owner — full control: billing, branding, team management, all settings.
  • Manager — runs the workspace day-to-day, including dashboard layout editing.
  • Member (setter/closer) — works the inbox and leads; no access to workspace-level settings.

03Per-profile access

Owners can restrict a member to specific connected accounts. A setter granted only @brandaccount sees just that profile's conversations, leads, dashboard numbers, analytics, and exports — everywhere in the app. No restriction set = the member sees all profiles.

04Workspaces

Most businesses need exactly one workspace; an agency runs one workspace per client (see White-label). Data never crosses workspaces — accounts, leads, AI configuration, Brain, flows, and analytics are fully isolated per workspace.

You name your workspace when you sign up (your business or brand name). To rename it later, go to Team → Workspace branding → Workspace name (owners only). This is the internal label used in the sidebar and by support; it's separate from the Brand name used for white-label display.

05The context card (top of the sidebar)

The card at the top of the sidebar always shows who you're operating as, top-down:

  • Workspace — the client container you're working in, with your role in it. This row only appears if you belong to more than one workspace; switching reloads the app into that client's world.
  • Profile — which of that workspace's connected accounts scopes everything you see (inbox, leads, dashboard, analytics). Pick a specific account or "All Profiles" for the merged view, and add new accounts right from the same menu. A count badge shows how many profiles are connected.

Agency rhythm: pick the client, pick the account, work — every screen below follows that selection.

06Notifications for teams

Connect Slack or Discord (Integrations) so "needs a human" alerts and flow notifications reach your team where they actually work — nobody has to live in SetterStack to catch a hot lead.
