Affiliate program

Earn recurring commission for introducing people to SetterStack. If you have an audience of coaches, creators, agencies, or local businesses losing leads in their DMs, this is an easy introduction to make — and you keep earning every month they stay.

Full details: setterstack.com/affiliates.

01How to join

Customers join themselves. Everyone else joins by invite. If you're on a SetterStack plan, it's one click:

  1. Open Settings → Billing inside SetterStack.
  2. Under Refer & earn, hit Register as an affiliate.
  3. Your tracked link appears immediately — copy it and start sharing.

You'll also get a link to set a password for your affiliate dashboard, where you can see clicks, signups, and what you've earned. There's nothing to apply for and no waiting on approval.

Not a customer yet? Start a plan and the option unlocks in Settings → Billing right away — a free trial counts, so you can register on day one of your week.

Invited without being a customer? We occasionally invite creators and partners directly. Those arrive as a personal link that only works for your email address and expires if it's left unclicked — open it once and you're set up, with the same link, dashboard and rate as everyone else. If yours has expired, just ask us for a fresh one.

02What you earn

20% recurring commission, for 6 months per customer you refer. One rate on every referral — there's no tier ladder to climb and no volume you have to hit first.

If we ever change the rate, the new rate applies to referrals you make from that point on — it doesn't change customers you've already referred.

Commission is paid on subscription revenue we actually collect, after discounts, refunds, taxes, and payment fees. Every plan earns, including the entry-level Flex — whichever plan your referral picks, you're paid on it.

03How it works, end to end

Here's the whole journey, so you know what to expect and when.

1 · You share your link. Your tracked link looks like setterstack.com?fp_ref=yourcode. It works on any page of our site, so you can point people at the homepage, the pricing page, or a specific help article — whichever fits what you're saying. You also get a discount code you can share instead, for places a link doesn't belong (a podcast, a stage, a printed card).

2 · Someone clicks. That's logged as a click in your dashboard within seconds, and you're credited for 90 days from that moment. First link wins: if they later click someone else's, or come back through an ad, the referral stays yours.

3 · They sign up. When they create an account, the click becomes a referral in your dashboard. This is the moment you know it landed — but it isn't money yet.

4 · They start their free week. Every new customer gets 7 days free with a card on file. Nothing is charged, so nothing is owed to you yet. Your referral sits as a signup while the clock runs.

5 · Their plan activates. When the trial converts and we actually collect payment, the referral becomes a sale and your commission starts. In practice that's about a week after the signup you saw — so don't be alarmed by referrals with no earnings next to them for the first several days. That's the system working normally.

6 · You keep earning for 6 months. Every month they stay subscribed pays you again, automatically. Nothing to re-claim and nothing to chase.

04Reading your dashboard

Set your password from the link we give you when you join, then sign in at setterstack.firstpromoter.com. You'll see four numbers that map exactly to the steps above:

  • Clicks — people who followed your link
  • Referrals — of those, who created an account
  • Sales — of those, whose plan actually activated and paid
  • Earnings — your commission, split into pending and paid

A gap between clicks and referrals is normal and healthy — most people who look don't sign up the same day, and they've still got 90 days. A gap between referrals and sales usually just means their free week hasn't finished yet.

05How people get credited to you

You get a tracked link and your own discount code. When someone clicks your link, we credit you for 90 days, and it's the first affiliate link a visitor arrives with that wins — so a later ad or retargeting click can't take a referral off you.

Tracking depends on cookies and on the person checking out in the same browser, so it isn't perfect. If you think a referral was missed, email us and we'll look — tell us roughly when you shared it and where, and we can usually find it.

06What actually converts

The people who do well with this don't "promote" — they show the thing working.

  • Payouts run monthly, on the 15th, covering the previous month.
  • There's a $50 minimum — anything under it rolls over to the next run.

08The rules that matter

No income claims. Never promise or imply what someone will earn — no "I made $10k with this", no revenue screenshots, no guaranteed number of booked calls. Show what the product does instead: the reply speed, the voice note, the booked call, the post it came from. It converts better anyway.

Disclose that you earn a commission, clearly and visibly, on every post, video, email, or page. Not hidden behind a link-in-bio.

Don't impersonate SetterStack. No lookalike domains or handles, no "official" positioning, and no bidding on SetterStack brand terms in paid search.

No spam. No unsolicited email, no mass cold DMs, no purchased lists.

No self-referral. You can't use your own link or code for your own account.

Breaking these ends your participation and forfeits unpaid commission. The full terms are at setterstack.com/affiliate-terms.

09Questions

Ask from inside SetterStack — Settings → Support — and we'll come back to you. Questions about a specific payout or a missed referral are best asked there too, with the date and the link you shared.
